Noise, humidity, unfinished work, a leak that no one understands, an elevator that has been waiting for months... Community conflicts are exhausting because they are experienced every day, on the stairs and on the landing. Neighborhood conciliation is a quick and confidential way to resolve them. A conciliator, lawyer and neutral, listens to all parties and helps you reach an agreement. What conflicts is it useful for? – Between neighbors: noise, odors, animals, leaks and humidity, use of common elements, terraces and parking lots. – With the board or property administrator: accounts, leaks, board agreements, lack of information or response. – With professionals who work for the community: plumbers, painters, bricklayers, maintenance or cleaning companies. Poorly done work, delays, budgets and invoices under discussion. How does it work? The sessions can be individual and/or joint. We study the problem, listen to each party and help you find an agreement. If necessary, we propose solutions taking into account the horizontal property regulations of the Civil Code of Catalonia and other legal aspects involved. The agreement can be recorded in writing. Why is it worth it? – It is faster and cheaper than a trial. – It is confidential. – It preserves the relationship: you will continue to be neighbors afterwards. – Before filing most civil lawsuits, you must have tried an appropriate means of dispute resolution (MASC). Conciliation meets this requirement. We hold face-to-face sessions in Girona, Figueres and Caldes de Montbui, or remotely by videoconference. We respond to each request within a maximum of 48 working hours with a proposed date, modality and budget.
